Highland Valley Cabins is a unique 400 acre property offering peace and quiet and privacy in a very beautiful wilderness valley setting. We have a cabin for rent, Spring/Summer/Fall. It has its own long driveway, porch, is fully equipped, and best suited for up to two people, though there is a pull out couch in the living room for addt'l sleeping. There is a marked hiking path, streams, fields, and hills to meander and observe wildlife. The property is on a quiet dirt road, pleasant for walking or jogging and is within 10 minutes of 4 pristine lakes. Owners live on the property and are very welcoming and available for assistance. Fresh flowers await your arrival; free fresh vegetables from our organic garden available in season. We rent to many artists, musicians, and writers who enjoy the studio cabin that comes with the cabin rental, and many return year after year.
Amenities: Fully equipped kitchen with gas stove/oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender, charcoal grill, cozy airtight wood stove with glass door. Paper goods, wood, charcoal are provided. Pets are welcome. No cell phone service but the cabin has a landline telephone. Tenants can arrange for Internet access by dial up. Wifi available at nearby library and cafe.
